About Green Apple Dentists

Green Apple Dentists are based in Douglasdale, near Fourways in Johannesburg. The clinic opened in 2010 and has very quickly became a thriving dental practice.  Our dentists offer a caring and friendly service and provide the full range of dental treatments. Green Apple Dentists believe in using top-quality materials for every dental procedure. It is our goal to provide our patients with comprehensive treatments that can serve both their cosmetic and oral health needs. All materials are metal free with an aesthetic finish.

Our Dentist - Dr Gavin van Niekerk (B.Ch.D (Stell))

Dr Gavin van Niekerk qualified at the University of Stellenbosch in 2002. He is a member of The South African Dental Association and The Health Professionals Council of South Africa. Dr van Niekerk was a member of the Oral B Dental Panel from 2006 to 2009 and is still actively involved with Oral B. He is also a member of the International Team of Implantologists.

Dr van Niekerk completed the  Southern Implants Certificate Course in 2006 and has completed a 2 year post graduate certificate in Oral Implantology, in association with the University of Pretoria and the German Society of Oral Implantology.

His dental interests are new smiles, metal free dentistry, dental crown and bridge work, implant crowns, placement of implants and screw retained dentures on implants.
